Solar Practice Lead, Leidos
Vanessa Martin-Wegryn is the Solar Practice Lead at Leidos, where she leads a team responsible for developing long-term generation forecasts for solar assets, reviewing PV module and inverter technologies, supporting solar project performance testing, and assessing the overall health of operating solar assets.
A Colorado native, Vanessa began her career as a distribution engineer designing electrical and gas distribution systems before transitioning into independent engineering consulting, where she managed power projects across thermal and solar technologies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and is passionate about leadership, collaboration, and developing innovative solutions within the energy industry.
