I serve as Chief Legal & Ethic Officer, General Counsel & Board Secretary at CPS Energy, overseeing all legal, audit and ethics matters. I previously served as Vice President & Chief Integrated Security Officer. CPS Energy is the nation’s largest municipally owned energy utility providing both natural gas and electric service to San Antonio and surrounding cohnties. I started my career at Haynes and Boone, LLP, as an employment attorney and later moved in-house with Fiesta Restaurant Group, Inc., a publicly traded restaurant company. As Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, I was responsible for employment, litigation, insurance, franchise, intellectual property, contracts, licensing & compliance, marketing and provided general legal advice as the senior attorney for the Hispanic Restaurant Division. My husband and I have a 20 year old son, who is an engineering student at the University of Texas. I spend my free time traveling, CrossFitting and reading.
